ERTICO
ERTICO ITS-EUROPE is a public-private partnership of over 120 companies and organisations representing Service Providers, Suppliers, the Traffic and Transport Industry, Research, Public Authorities, Users, Mobile Networks Operators, and Vehicle Manufactures. It embodies Thought Leadership and fosters Stakeholder Engagement, innovating, promoting and deploying Intelligent Transport Systems and Services (ITS) through several activities, including European co-funded projects, Innovation Platforms, International Cooperation, Advocacy and Events. ERTICO is also the organiser of the ITS European and World Congresses.
Through ongoing cooperation in a series of projects, ERTICO has developed privileged relationships with the US DoT, the MLIT Japan, the BRIC countries, South Africa, Singapore, Australia, New Zealand, Canada, and Chile, and has contact points in South Korea and Taiwan.
Role in epowermove
ERTICO is the project coordinator of ePowerMove, coordinating and managing all project activities to ensure qualitative and timely delivery of results. It also leads the Innovation Management, aimed at developing the procedure to manage and monitor the development of the project innovation. As leader of WP6 – Communication, Dissemination and Exploitation, it will ensure high visibility of the project, exploit its impact, and maximise its marketable outcomes.
As the project coordinator, ERTICO will oversee the implementation of all Work Packages, ensuring alignment with project objectives and timelines. It will provide strategic guidance to manufacturers, service providers, and planning authorities to support consistent execution across all partners. ERTICO will also be responsible for drafting the evaluation plan, detailing the specifications and methodologies for deploying demonstration trials across the three pilot sites. This plan will establish a clear framework for the execution, monitoring, and analysis of the pilots, ensuring a robust foundation for assessing outcomes and replicability.
