Liaison and cooperation
ePowerMove is working closely with other EU-funded projects, associations and initiatives that share matching goals to exchange best practices and learnings, build synergies and leverage shared dissemination opportunities. These collaborations aim to reach wider audiences and further the project’s mission of advancing accessible, affordable and scalable charging solutions.
initiatives
2Zero Partnership
The 2Zero Partnership, under which the ePowerMove project is funded, is a co-programmed Partnership under the Horizon Europe programme. Building on the previous European Green Cars Initiative – EGCI (2009-2013) and the European Green Vehicles Initiative – EGVI (2014-2020) initiatives, the Partnership seeks to accelerate the green transition towards carbon-neutral European transport by 2050, supporting zero tailpipe emissions by fostering research and deployment.
Its roadmap, collaboratively defined by different stakeholders that make up the Partnership and approved by the European Commission, is outlined in its Strategic Research and Innovation Agenda (SRIA), which also features KPIs that seek to measure the effectiveness of the 2Zero activities in reaching its goals.
V2X Cluster
ePowerMove is actively engaging with the V2X Cluster to strengthen knowledge exchange and foster collaboration across EU-funded initiatives focused on smart and bidirectional charging. The cluster, comprising EV4EU, SCALE, DriVe2X, FLOW Project, and XL-CONNECT, regularly convenes to explore business models, regulatory challenges, and city-level needs for mass V2X adoption. Through ongoing meetings, ePowerMove contributes to shared strategies and seeks joint dissemination opportunities to amplify the impact of V2X solutions across Europe.
ELECTRIC VEHICLES TECHNOLOGY COLLABORATION PROGRAMME – EV TCP
This programme offers a forum for member countries and organisations to discuss their perspectives on the development and deployment of hybrid and electric vehicles, facilitating the green transition. The programme falls under the International Energy Agency (IEA) framework.
The EV TCP efforts are clustered into different tasks that tackle specific topics. ePowerMove is particularly interested in Task 53 – Interoperability of bidirectional charging (INBID), which identifies the gaps in the ISO 15118-2 and protocols of the grid codes of DSO local grid and charging systems, finds common solutions, test them in different European labs and widespread the results and solution to reach a global application.
BRIDGE
This initiative, launched by the European Commission, brings together different projects from the Horizon 2020 and Horizon Europe funding programmes working on common topics from Smart Grid, Energy Storage and Islands to Digitalisation.
Through this platform, projects exchange lessons learned and knowledge acquired to overcome shared challenges and advance Europe’s smart energy transition. BRIDGE structure consists of four different Working Groups. Based on our project’s societal scope, ePowerMove is particularly interested in the ‘Consumers and Citizen Engagement’ group, focused on defining indicators and strategies of engagement and developing smart tools co-designed with the consumers.

BATTERY2LIFE
The 2Zero Partnership, under which the ePowerMove project is funded, is a co-programmed Partnership under the Horizon Europe programme.

BATTERY2LIFE is a project, funded under the Horizon Europe framework programme, that facilitates the smooth transition of EV batteries to 2nd life use and boost the innovation of the European Battery Industry by providing enablers to implement open, adaptable smart Battery Management Systems (BMS) and improved system designs towards reliable reconfiguration of used batteries.
Two demonstrations that represent two promising and sustainable business cases, serving the two most common stationary applications, have been carefully selected: the domestic and industrial (grid-scale) storage, with respect to their operational specificities and requirements.
