ERTICO ITS EUROPE

ERTICO ITS-EUROPE is a public-private partnership of 120+ companies and organizations, including service providers, transport industries, research bodies, public authorities, and vehicle manufacturers. It drives Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS) innovation through European projects, innovation platforms, international cooperation, advocacy, and events.

Through ongoing cooperation in a series of projects, ERTICO has developed privileged relationships with the US DoT, the MLIT Japan, the BRIC countries, South Africa, Singapore, Australia, New Zealand, Canada, and Chile, and has contact points in South Korea and Taiwan. This international cooperation ensures that EU-funded projects and key ITS innovations are promoted globally. To provide leadership in managing EU-funded projects, ERTICO employs the best in class experts in the ITS field with expertise covering engineering, traffic, political, psychological/behavioural and communication/IT sciences. It also self-funds and leads innovation platforms such as TM2.0, TN-ITS, MaaS Alliance, ADASIS, and SENSORIS, along with initiatives like City Moonshot and Academy, reinforcing its leadership in the ITS ecosystem.

Role in epowermove

ERTICO is the project coordinator and leader of communication and dissemination for ePowerMove. It will develop the demonstration and evaluation plan, providing key guidelines for manufacturers, service providers, and planning authorities. Leveraging its extensive network, ERTICO will share project results and updates, ensuring broad visibility. Drawing on expertise from previous EU-funded projects like eCharge4Drivers, ERTICO will contribute valuable insights.

As coordinator, it will oversee all Work Packages, managing progress and ensuring successful implementation. Its ultimate goal is to support the large-scale deployment of electric vehicles (EVs) by driving innovation and fostering collaboration across stakeholders.
