Role in epowermove
In addition to serving as the technical coordinator, VTT plays a key role in ePowerMove, contributing across multiple areas of innovation, research, and implementation. Key responsibilities include:
- Leading the Helsinki pilot to demonstrate low-cost, non-intrusive bidirectional AC charging solutions.
- Collaborates with project partners to design and validate charging technologies
- Developing grid-friendly smart charging strategies, digital twin simulations, and predictive power models.
- Co-designing of solutions and conducting research on user behaviour as well as socio-cultural factors to address real-world community needs.
